- Lead the team in the Student Transition System to include not but limited to:
- Meet with Admin Team to discuss possible transition students on the 15th of each month
- Discuss with teachers to get their input, if necessary
- Speak with parent about transition and give new class packet and class info to prepare for move
- Have parent complete child profile forms
- Have teammate complete child traansition forms for
- Introduce parents to teacher before move
- Decide transition schedule (if applicable)
- Inform teacher and parents of transition schedule (if applicable)
- Create student transition sign and place on classroom day before
- Provide teammate with child information to include spelling of names, birthdate, and allergies, special notes, etc.
- System transitioning to ensure in correct room for first day
- Ensure teammates have moved student belongings so they can have a smooth transition morning
- Prepare a monthly new/transition/disenroll sheet for quick reference for teammate and Admin Team
- On day of move, greet family and escort to new room (prepared and anticipating based on time agreed upon)
- Introduce teacher again and transition child into class, following up with any parent questions
- Send photo via text/email with fun caption of first day PLAY!
- Hand off pick up notes to Admin Team so they an assist with a smooth first day pick up
- First week personal check in with teacher and parents (separately) to see how things are progressing
- Transfer student folder to correct class file crate (double checking for accuracy)
- Maintain accurate and up to date records for student files, meeting both stage and GSI requirements
- Manage student folders
- Immunization reports maintained and kept in compliance with state licensing and GSI
- Maintain accurate enrollment spreadsheet etc. for Admin Team
- Provide monthly transition, disenrollment and enrollment sheets to Admin Team
- Lead the team in Student Departure System to include but not limited to:
- Inform teachers the day you are notified with specifics
- After departure, ensure entire student file is complete and in the inactive crate
- Assist teacher in moving products, etc out of the classroom
- Take any medication from medication bin and medication notebook (signing off), if applicable
- FMS accuracy, changing status
- Send snail mail, if applicable
- Regularly visit classrooms to keep in connection of what is spoken at tours, to include developmental standards, FLEX framework, Quality Assurance, and overall philosophy of the school
- Coordinate with Admin team on executing special events
- Informing the team of updates to student enrollment (enrollment, disenrollment, special needs, etc)
- Building teammate and classroom relationships
